My recovery
journey began in Cindy Johnson’s office. I recognized that I
needed counseling because I had been making the same
relationship mistakes over and over for years with the same
negative results. I found that no matter how hard I tried, I
couldn’t break the unhealthy relational patterns I had
developed. Cindy taught me the importance of acknowledging my
feelings. She assisted me in recognizing false beliefs that I
had and helped me to replace them with the truth. She taught me
the value of being involved in a supportive recovery community
and helped me to connect with several invaluable resources and
support groups. She allowed me to share who I was and what I was
struggling with without condemnation or fear. Her patience,
wisdom, and personal experience helped to make my recovery
journey successful. Therapy with Cindy has been a life changing
experience for me.

There are no words to express how much Cliff Tulsie (with
CJC) has been a benefit to us. It was truly a God thing for our
paths to cross. He has been used as a tremendous
counselor (and "third party") to bring healing to the areas needed,
direction to get us out from all the stressors we were under in our
home, teachings on different personalities (strengths and
weaknesses) and how to benefit from one another and work with
others' uniqueness, wisdom and knowledge in so many areas, and once
again restored great hope.We had many things prior come against us and we were continuously
knocked down. But much thanks to our Lord and Cliff in our lives we
were not knocked out. On this journey of life, trials may still come
but we believe the way we handle them now will bring a different
outcome.
We are forever grateful to Cliff and look for
opportunities to recommend him (of any age or gender) to help get
someone over those "bumps" of life. Our marriage is truly better
than it has ever been and with that positively affects the rest of
our surroundings. Reaching out for counseling is not a negative or
sign of weakness but with the "right people" only brings great
rewards.

As "empty nesters," we thought our family issues were getting
less complicated. Eighteen months ago, this situation changed
drastically. A problem surfaced with one of our children and we were
devastated beyond our own understanding. We contacted Cliff Tulsie.
He immediately got back to us and we found a caring, religious
"mentor" and friend. He offered concrete suggestions for
communicating with each other and our family. His Godly advice,
supported by Biblical passages, has been invaluable in dealing with
our situation. Cliff has become a non-judgmental and trusted friend.
