Deb began her counseling career while in graduate school,
working with at-risk children and their families. She graduated
with a Master’s degree in 2002 and continued in this area for
several years. Joining Cindy in 2007, Deb has been able to
expand her practice to include individuals (children, teens and
adults), couples and families. Throughout the course of her
experience, Deb has realized a special passion for working with
children, adolescent girls, and women. Issues of interest
include depression (including post-partum), anxiety, eating
disorders, abuse, cutting/self-injury, marital/relationship
issues, identity issues, parenting, and behavior concerns. In
the Fall of 2008, she plans to begin speaking engagements on the
topics of parenting, discipline and motherhood.
God is able to utilize many of Deb’s own experiences to help
her to be a more empathic and sensitive therapist. From a
faith-based perspective, she strives to assist individuals in
understanding the beliefs and emotions behind their behaviors,
thus allowing them to find healing and make positive life
changes. When working with children, as well as with adults,
she provides a safe place to talk, to understand feelings, and
to heal.
Deb and her husband, Brian, live in Omaha with their two
beautiful daughters.
"Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way
you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you
will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really
is." Romans 12:2, NLT
